It should be noted that before we begin talking about actual number of days that there can be a lot of factors that can increase or decrease the number of days to replace your home’s siding. The size of your home is the most obvious factor in deciding the length of a home siding replacement. The larger the house, the more days it will take.
Unforeseen weather conditions can also delay and add days into a home siding replacement project. If there are heavy thunderstorms that prevents work from occurring (similar to new home builds) than the project timeline will extend.
The condition of your home with the current siding is also going to be a big factor. If the condition was so poor that it allowed for moisture, mildew, or additional damage that might not be seen during initial evaluation – the project could be extended.
After all of those factors are taken into consideration, you can typically expect a complete home siding replacement to fall between 7-14 days.
It should also be noted that the project will not typically hinder any of your daily activities in your home outside of adding some additional noise on occasion. Some customers choose to have the project take place while they are out of town so they aren’t present for most (if not all) of the project.
